Rev Dr D Vincent Twomey SVD,  Professor Emeritus of Moral Theology spoke about  "Some implications of the new medical council structure and guidelines".

Meeting Saturday 13th October 2007 was in Issacs Hotel, Store St, Dublin 1.

Professor Patricia Casey spoke about the "Psychological effects of abortion" (Minutes of meeting were circularised).

Meeting Saturday 19th May 2007 in Hotel Isaacs, Dublin, commenced with lunch at 12.30pm followed by a presentation from 2 until 3pm by Professor Des O'Neill on  "Ethics and older people". The AGM followed that. (Minutes of meeting were circularised).

Meeting Saturday 17th February 2007 in Dublin,. We had a presentation from 2 until 3pm on Natural Procreative Technology (NaProTechnology or "NaPro") by Dr. Phil Boyle from the Galway Clinic. A copy of the presentation is available HERE.

Meeting of the Catholic Doctors Association 21st Oct 06

We had a wonderful meeting recently in All Hallows, Dublin. The meeting was chaired by Professor Emeritus Eamon O Dwyer. We began with a prayer for this work and were subsequently treated to insightful reports from recent meetings in Rome concerning Stem cell research and the work of FEAMC and Mater Care.

After our business meeting we were treated to a wonderful presentation from Sr. Miriam Duggan, an Obstetrician Gynaecologist working in Uganda. She has worked specifically in the field of HIV prevention for over 15 years. Uganda was on the Brink of desolation from HIV in 1991 when they began their abstinence programme with tremendous effect.
