Meeting began with a presentation by Prof Patricia Casey on "Recent evidence of adverse psychological effects of abortion" @ 2pm in Isaacs Hotel, Store St, Dublin 1.

Lively discussion followed.until 3.10pm when Eamon brought it to a close.

Minutes of AGM 19th May were read and signed.

Correspondance: Linacre Centre Autumn Newsletter was sent by electronic mail to members. Various sites have asked for links to our web site. A discussion followed on website. We have links to 11 sites,all of which are Catholic sites and Maureen suggested links to another site www.onemoresoul.com .We will try to show site (on internet) to members at next meeting and discuss same.

We then discussed our finances, cost of meeting was over 400 euro as we had to hire a projector (costing 120euro). It was agreed that Janina and Miriam would look into the cost of buying our own projector either new or second hand.

Janina then gave a review of all the talks at the Linacre Centre Conference,held in July 07.

Date of next meeting was provisionally set for 23rd February 08, and Ann will ask Kathy Sinnott MEP to address us on that date.

Sr Helen brought up topic of vaccines using embryo tissue and it was agreed she would give us an update on vaccines at next meeting.
